Digital Marketing Case Study: Lyght Living

Project Background

Lyght Living is a furniture rental service company in Germany. They struggled to increase its service awareness and site visitation from new customers. They had run digital ads but it didn't perform well and I consulted them.

What I did

I conducted a market research and found out that they are a dominant player in the market. There is no visible competitor and I assume that they could grow quickly if they reach targets properly. Therefore I did:

- Developed a short-term and a long-term digital marketing plan. In a short-term I planned to collect data which would become a base, not to do too many things at once, so that they can see what kind of change (copy? design? channel? etc) would influence better in a long-term.
- Investigated Google Ads and Google Analytics setup they built so far and improved them.
- Improved campaign contents they ran so that their message would become clearer and deliver values to latent customer.

Search ads

Changed copy which meet intent customer needs and added site links of products with price to remove fear of 'it must be expensive'.

Display ads

Changed copy and set up properly such as narrowing a region and an age group so that the ads can win ads bidding.

Result

- Increased the google ads optimisation score from 72% to 97.1% in a month.
- Increased impressions and clicks by 8,740% and 694% respectively and decreased cost by 43% in two months.
- Increased conversion by 200% in two months
